Brian Palmer

His Story
1. FHC: How long have you been riding motorcycles, and what got you started?
Brian: 36 years and coworkers talked me into getting a motorcycle and I have been hooked ever since.
2. FHC: What was your very first motorcycle and do you miss it?
Brian: 1976 Kawasaki 650 Special and no I don't miss it only owned it for a couple of month then upgraded.
3. FHC: What are you currently riding, and what do you love most about it?
Brian: 2013 Street Glide having a stereo and cruise control.
4. FHC: What’s your favorite ride or road trip you’ve ever taken?
Brian: So many good memories but I would say my trip out west to visit the Bonneville Salt Flats has to be at the top of the list.
5. FHC: Do you have a dream motorcycle trip or destination still on your bucket list?
Brian: LOL, so many but the Grand Canyon is next on the list.
6. FHC: What’s one piece of riding advice you’d give to newer riders?
Brian: Enjoy the ride it’s not a race.
7. FHC: What’s your favorite type of ride? (Long highway miles, backroads, mountain curves, group rides, solo rides, rallies, etc.)
Brian: Everything listed besides rallies miles = smiles.
8. FHC: What’s one item you never leave home without on a ride?
Brian: Gloves.
9. FHC: What’s the best lesson motorcycles have taught you about life?
Brian: The fact that people with such a wide back ground can get together and enjoy riding.
10. FHC: Was there someone that influenced you to start riding?
Brian: Many coworkers.
11. FHC: What music is always on your riding playlist?
Brian: Rock, rap, top 40, hairbands.
12. FHC: What’s something most people in the group probably don’t know about you?
Brian: I collect Matchbox die cast car.
13. FHC: In one sentence: What does riding mean to you?
Brian: Freedom.
14. FHC: How long have you been with Faribault H.O.G. Chapter
Brian: Three years
15. FHC: What does being a H.O.G. member mean to you?
Brian: Being part of the very special group of people at the FBHD H.O.G..
16. FHC: Does your bike have a nickname? If so, Why that name?
Brian: Big Bottom Girl w/ a drinking problem. Because she's a bagger and the way I like to drive, She loves to
drink the fuel, lol.
